The Blood Transfusion Association (BTA) is delighted to announce its inaugural event “Ensuring a robust and flexible framework for blood supply for transfusions in the EU”.
The in-person breakfast event will be held in the European Parliament (Brussels) on 6th December from 08:30 – 10:00 am CET and will be co-hosted by MEP Andreas Glück and MEP Radka Maxová.
The main focus of the meeting will be surrounding the shifting regulatory landscape impacting blood supply in the EU. The participants will be discussing on how to build a strong and adaptable regulatory framework in light of the recent publication of the proposal for a Regulation on the safety and quality of substances of human origin (SoHO) and the ongoing transition to the Medical Device Regulation.
