BTA is an international non-profit trade association representing blood bag manufacturers. The association founded in 2019 is headquartered in Europe (Brussels, Belgium), and has an international scope. Through its direct membership and stakeholder network, BTA aims to make the voice of the blood sector heard in a collaborative approach.

Our activities

• Promotion of legislative and non-legislative policy at national, European and international level;
• Development of collaborative projects furthering and supporting the objective of the Association;
• Coordination of initiatives promoted by stakeholders and specialized organisations that aim at the promotion of safe blood use and supply.

Our mission

We aim to promote the correct use and safe supply of blood for transfusion. We support policies that allow for blood bag manufacturers to meet public health needs.
